Good Bye Capital One (Bradford 1-1 Arsenal #3-2 Pen)

As usual, Arsenal dominated the game and superior in ball possession when playing at Valley Parade Stadium, Wednesday (12/12/2012) against Bradford City. But the final result that obtained is Arsenal must forget the dream won Capital One Cup trophy after the match result with the score 1-1 and losing in pinalty with the score 3-2.

Arsenal played almost all of the best team with Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Thomas Vermaelen, Lukas Podolski, and Wojciech Szczesny. But Bradford is not an easy opponent to be defeated by Arsenal. This was proven when in minute 16 Bradford managed to lead 1-0 from goals Garry Thompson.
 
 

In the second half, Tomas Rosicky, Alex Ox and Chamakh came on for Ramsey, Coquelin Podolski and to add to the Arsenal attack. After performing very dominant, Arsenal finally equalized in the 88th minute with a goal by Thomas Vermaelen. After going through extra time without a goal, the game finally resumed through penalty shoot-out.

In the round of penalty kicks, Arsenal lost 2-3 after Vermaelen, Cazorla, and Chamakh failed to do their job well. Hopefully this is not a bad sign for Arsenal who have had 7 years of fasting degree. Go Gunners!!!
